Congratulations to Carterville senior David Lutchka and the Harrisburg Bulldogs boys bowling team, our Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois in Mt. Vernon Prime Time Performers for January 27-February 1.
Lutchka won the individual boys bowling state championship finishing with 2777 pins over the two-day tournament, becoming the first Carterville Lion to win an individual state championship since 1962.
The Bulldogs won the team title with 13,177 to win by a state finals record 689 pins. Three Harrisburg bowlers medaled: James Cranmore (2nd), Dalton Wheeler (4th), Miles Brombaugh (10th).
