Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois Prime Time Performer nominees

Voting is open and will run through midnight Saturday for the next Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois in Mt. Vernon Prime Time Performer.

Here are the nominees for September 23-28:

Wilke Armstrong, Massac Co.: The junior shot an 85 to win medalist honors and help the Lady Patriots win the SIRR Ohio girls golf championship.

Xander Ashby, Mt. Vernon: The sophomore shot a 78 to earn medalist honors and help the Rams win the South Seven boys golf championship. 

Michael Brown, Centralia: The junior rushed 40 times for 296 yards and scored a touchdown to help the Orphans to a 41-13 win over Carbondale. 

Nolan Causey, Johnston City: The senior rushed 15 times for 159 yards and scored two touchdowns on offense and also had an interception on defense to help the Indians to a 50-14 win over Flora. 

Whitney Lovel, Trico: The sophomore shot a 78 to earn medalist honors and help the Lady Pioneers win the Black Diamond Conference girls golf championship.

Adrian Mann, Harrisburg: The senior scored 5 goals and added 5 assists in 3 matches for the Bulldogs. Mann set a new school record for goals scored in a career with 63.

Gabe Rottmann, Massac Co.: The senior shot a 77 to earn medalist honors and help the Patriots win the SIRR Ohio boys golf championship.

Mason Smiley, Edwards Co.: The junior shot a 73 to earn medalist honors and help the Lions win the Black Diamond Conference boys golf championship.

Brynn Stiegman, Nashville: The junior shot an 81 to earn medalist honors and help the Hornettes win the SIRR Mississippi girls golf championship.

Lincoln Thomas, Benton: The senior shot a 74 to earn medalist honors and help the Rangers win the SIRR Mississippi boys golf championship.

Triston Webb, Du Quoin: The senior rushed 13 times for 351 yards and scored 5 touchdowns to help the Indians to a 42-7 win over Pinckneyville.
