Cahokia hands Marion first loss

CAHOKIA – The Marion Wildcats suffered their first loss of the season, falling at Cahokia 28-6.

It was the Correyontae Midgett show on the new turf in Cahokia Heights. The senior running back rushed for 278 yards on 23 carries and scored three touchdowns.

Both teams are now 4-1. Marion will return home next Friday night to host Centralia, while Cahokia will be back at home to welcome Mt. Vernon.
