HARRISBURG — Ethan Golish homered twice, doubled, and drove in three to help Harrisburg remain unbeaten in SIRR Ohio play with an 11-1 win in six innings over visiting Massac County.

The Bulldogs jumped on top with four runs in the bottom of the fourth, all coming with two outs. Golish’s two-run homer started the scoring. Brendan Bergan added an RBI single and another run scored on a wild pitch.

The Patriots got one of those runs back in the top of the fourth, but Harrisburg answered with three more runs in the bottom of the inning on RBI hits from Camron Ande, Dawson Griffith, and Reed Rider.

Golish led off the bottom of the sixth with a monstrous drive way over the left field fence. The Bulldogs added two more runs on bases loaded hit batters to finish the game.

Ande allowed only the one run on two hits while striking out seven over six innings for the win.

The Bulldogs improve to 15-5 on the season. The Patriots fall to 8-8, 2-3 in the conference.
