HARRISBURG — Our John A. Logan Senior Spotlight is shining on a future Lady Vol, Harrisburg’s Frankie Leigh Nicholes. Nicholes recently signed with John A. Logan and will compete for the Lady Vols’ golf team.
Nicholes is a three-time All-South selection who earned trips to the State Tournament the past three seasons (there was no State Tourney her freshman year due to the pandemic). Her best finish at state came back in October when she was 16th.
Nicholes earned all-conference honors in the River to River-Ohio all four years. She averaged 37 over nine holes and 78 over 18 holes her senior year, including medalist honors at the 12-team Anna-Jonesboro Invitational.
Nicholes is also a significant contributor for the Lady Bulldogs’ basketball team, who is currently 17-7.
