Voting is open and will run through midnight Saturday for the next Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois Prime Time Performer.

Here are the nominees for October 16-21:

Ahry Comer, Pope Co.: The senior won the Harrisburg 1A Cross Country Regional by :35 with a time of 19:17.

Jaxon Dalby, Webber: The junior won the Fairfield 1A Cross Country Regional by :09 with a time of 17:29.

Karmello Downey, Harrisburg: The senior rushed 20 times for 168 yards and scored 4 touchdowns in the Bulldogs’ 49-28 win at Benton. Downey also had 32 yards receiving for 200 total yards.

Gavin Genisio, Benton: The senior won the Chester 1A Cross Country Regional by :36 with a time of 14:59.

Elijah Gregory, Christ Our Rock Lutheran: The senior won the Wesclin 1A Cross Country Regional by :00.6 with a time of 16:11.

Dylon Nalley, Marion: The senior won the Richland County 2A Cross Country Regional by 1:01 with a time of 14:33, breaking the course record by :56.

Braiden Respondek, Gallatin Co.: The senior won the Harrisburg 1A Cross Country Regional by :11 with a time of 17:28.

Emersyn Robbins, Fairfield: The senior was named the Fairfield Invitational MVP after lead the Lady Mules to a 5-0 record for the title. For the week, Robbins tallied 89 kills, 6 blocks, and 5 aces in 6 matches.

Vanessa Teel, Pinckneyville: The junior won the Chester 1A Cross Country Regional by :38 with a time of 19:11.

Lisa Tomasi, Fairfield: The senior went 7-1 and finished 5th at the Girls 1A State Tennis Tournament. Tomasi is the area’s first player to reach championship Saturday in singles at state.

Triston Webb, Du Quoin: The junior tallied more than 200 yards rushing and receiving, scoring 3 touchdowns in the Indians’ 39-7 win over Murphysboro to complete a perfect regular season.
