Here are the nominees for March 31-April 5:
Emma Behrmann, Nashville: The junior won the 100 meters (13.66), the long jump (16’-3”), and the triple jump (34’-10.25”) at the Chester Meet.
Ava Brown, Harrisburg: The sophomore was 6-8 with 2 doubles, 5 RBIs, and a run scored to help the Lady Bulldogs go 2-0 for the week.
Izzy Doerr, Murphysboro: The junior scored 6 goals with back to back hat tricks to help the Red Devils go 2-0 for the week.
Anzlee Ferrel, Harrisburg: The senior scored 5 goals and added an assist to help the Lady Bulldogs beat Massac County.
Chase Freeman, ZRC: The senior was 2-4 with a home run and 3 RBIs and was on base 4 times to help the Tornadoes go 1-1 for the week.
Makayla Joyner, West Frankfort: The sophomore was 4-4 with 2 doubles, 4 RBIs, and 3 runs scored to help the Lady Redbirds beat Goreville.
Analisse McLain, Benton: The freshman won the pole vault at the Chester Meet clearing a personal best 10’-2”.
Tucker Nalley, Pope Co.: The junior gave up 1 unearned run on 2 hits while striking out 11 over 6 innings to lead the Pirates to a win over Gallatin County. Nalley was 1-2 and scored twice as well.
Jayci Needling, Anna-Jonesboro: The junior was 3-3 with 2 doubles and walk off grand slam in the Lady Wildcats win over Murphysboro. Needling finished with 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
Diedrich Smith, Mt. Vernon: The senior threw struck out 7 in a 5-hit, 5-inning shutout helping the Rams beat Benton. Diedrich was 3-4 at the plate with an RBI and 3 runs scored.
Elisabeth Trainor, Goreville: The junior was 4-5 with 3 doubles, 2 RBIs, and 2 runs scored in the Lady Blackcats’ loss to West Frankfort.
Landon Travelstead, Pinckneyville: The senior won the pole vault at the Chester Meet clearing a personal best 13’-0”.
