CARBONDALE — Sara Schurz and the Carbondale Terriers got off to a great start to the girls soccer season. Schurz scored four goals to help lead the Terriers to an 8-1 win over visiting Harrisburg in the season opener for both teams.
Carbondale (1-0) will host Belleville East Wednesday at 5:00. Harrisburg (0-1) will visit Vienna/Goreville Thursday at 4:30.
