Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois Prime Time Performer nominees

Voting is open and will run through midnight Sunday for the next Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois in Mt. Vernon Prime Time Performer.

Here are the nominees for February 24-March 1:

Emma Behrmann, Nashville:  The junior scored 39 points in 2 games to help the Hornettes win the Wesclin 2A Sectional. She scored 21 points on 9-9 shooting in the championship win over Breese Central.

Grace Bishop, Edwards Co.: The junior scored 39 points in 2 games to help the Lady Lions win the Trico 2A Sectional. She scored 28 in the semifinal win over Gallatin County.

Justice Dagg, Fairfield: The senior scored 59 points in 3 games as the Mules advanced to their own regional title game. He scored 24 in the semifinal OT win over Marshall.

AJ Flenoid Jr., Meridian: The sophomore scored 46 points and grabbed 34 rebounds in 2 games to help the Bobcats win the Crab Orchard 1A Regional. He scored 29 and grabbed 22 rebounds in the championship win over Hardin County.

Gage Peterson, Waltonville:  The junior scored 55 points and grabbed 29 rebounds in 3 games to help the Spartans win the Marissa 1A Regional. He scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the semifinal win over Gibault.

Zoee Sadler, Anna-Jonesboro:  The senior was the lone area medalist at the Girls State Wrestling championships. Sadler finished 4th in the 105 pound weight class. She finished with a 46-12 record for the season.

Docker Tedeschi, Benton: The senior scored 40  points in 2 games helping the Rangers win the Hamilton County 2A Regional. He scored 21 in the championship win over Carterville.

Maddax Thompson, Carbondale:  The senior was the lone area medalist at the Boys State Swimming and Diving championships. He finished 9th in the 100 yd breast stroke with a time of 55.86.

Hunter Webb, Vienna: The senior scored 41 points in 2 games to help the Eagles win the Anna-Jonesboro 2A Regional. He scored 28 in the championship win over Massac County.

Melaina Zedalis, Mt. Vernon:  The senior scored 43 points in 2 games helping the Lady Rams win the Civic Memorial 3A Sectional. She scored 33 in the championship win over Marion.
