Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois Prime Time Performer nominees

Voting is open and will run through midnight Sunday for the next Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois in Mt. Vernon Prime Time Performer.

Here are the nominees for February 3-8:

Kaden Blades, Benton: The junior went 3-0 with 3 falls to win the 138 pound weight class at the Carmi-White Co. 1A Regional.

Riddick Cook, Marion: The senior went 3-0 with 3 falls to win the 120 pound weight class at the Waterloo 2A Regional.

Suhmer Daubert, Vienna: The senior hit a school record 12 3-pointers in an 84-34 win over Anna-Jonesboro. The 12 3s is the 4th most in IHSA history.

Bryce Edwards, Murphysboro: The senior went 3-0 with 2 fall and a tech fall (22-4) to win the 144 pound weight class at the Carmi-White Co. 1A Regional.

AJ Flenoid Jr., Meridian: The sophomore scored 37 points and grabbed 30 rebounds in a 73-63 win over Madison. For the week, Flenoid Jr. tallied 56 points and 37 rebounds helping the Bobcats go 2-0 for the week. 

Conner Henson, West Frankfort: The senior went 3-0 with 3 falls to win the 190 pound weight class at the Carmi-White Co. 1A Regional.

Talan Keoughan, Fairfield: The senior went 3-0 with 3 falls in a total 1:48 to win the 175 pound weight class at the Lawrenceville 1A Regional.

Nathaniel Marlow, Webber: The junior scored 122 points in 3 games to help the Trojans go 2-1 for the week. Marlow scored 49 in an 87-82 overtime loss to Madison and 42 in a 78-75 win over Waltonville.

Killian Merrill, Salem: The senior went 2-0 with 2 falls in a total 2:59 to win the 175 pound weight class at the Roxana 1A Regional.

Sidnee Nelson, Herrin: The junior knocked down 1175 pins to earn medalist honors and help the Lady Tigers win the team title at the Marion Girls Bowling Regional.

Rayci Phelps, Hamilton Co.: The junior scored 80 points, grabbed 18 rebounds to go with 7 assists and 8 steals in 3 games to help the Lady Foxes go 3-0 for the week. Phelps tallied 31 in a 61-60 win over Carmi-White County. 

Jack Turner, Massac Co.: The senior scored 87 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in 4 games including a school record 41 in a 77-75 overtime loss to Ballard Memorial.

Jasaiyah Wallace, Centralia: The senior scored 74 points in 3 games helping the Annies go 2-1 in the week. Wallace tallied 30 in a 56-38 loss to Mt. Vernon.

Ryder Wettig, Trico: The freshman scored 38 points in a 59-48 win over Zeigler-Royalton.

Dillon White, Mt. Vernon: The senior went 3-0 with 2 falls in a total of 2:19 and a forfeit win to win the 144 pound weight class at the Waterloo 2A Regional.
