Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois Prime Time Performer nominees

Voting is open and will run through midnight Sunday for the next Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois in Mt. Vernon Prime Time Performer.

Here are the nominees for December 23-January 4:

Jonathan Carlton, Harrisburg: The senior earned medalist honors with 744 pins in 3 qualification games at the Carterville Invitational, including a 299 game. Carlton helped the Bulldogs to a 2nd place team finish. 

Kyle Cooper, Waltonville: The junior was named to the All-Tournament Team after helping the Spartans win the Sesser-Valier Holiday Tournament title. Cooper scored 65 points, grabbed 16 rebounds, and dished out 8 assists in 3 games. 

Archie Goewey, Centralia: Became the first freshman since the award was created in 1967 to win MVP of the Centralia Holiday Tournament. Goewey scored 55 points and dished out 11 assists in 4 games, including a last second game winning basket in the championship game.

Conner Henson, West Frankfort: The senior went 9-0 at Abe’s Rumble duals and then went 5-0 to win the 190 pound weight class at the Murdale Tournament.

Abby Keith, Pinckneyville: The junior earned MVP honors helping the Lady Panthers win the Christ Our Rock Lutheran  Winterfest title. 

Kyrese Lukens, Herrin: The senior earned MVP honors helping the Tigers to their 4th straight Eldorado Holiday Tournament title. Lukens scored 73 points, grabbed 15 rebounds, and dished out 14 assists in 4 games.  

Jacee Mardirosian, Carterville: The sophomore with 3-0 with 3 falls to win the 140 pound weight class at the Murdale Girls Wrestling Tournament.

JaKwon McAllister, Cairo: The freshman earned MVP honors helping the Pilots win the Appleknocker Holiday Tournament championship. McAllister scored 27 in the title game win over Johnston City.

Krista McBride, Goreville: The junior went 3-0 with 3 falls to win the 190 pound weight class at the Murdale Girls Wrestling Tournament.

Alauni Muex, Marion: The junior went 3-0 with 3 falls to win the 120 pound weight class at the Murdale Girls Wrestling Tournament, helping the Lady Wildcats win the team title as well.

Kamaree Pollard, Mt. Vernon: The senior was named to the All-Tournament Team after helping the Lady Rams win their 4th straight Benton Rangerette Christmas Classic title. Pollard scored 78 points, grabbed 14 rebounds, and dished out 19 assists* in 4 games. (*Stats for rebounds and assists only available for 3 games).

Docker Tedeschi, Benton: The senior earned MVP honors helping the Rangers win the Duster Thomas Hoops Classic title. Tedeschi scored 78 points and grabbed 30 rebounds in 4 games including 3 free throws with :00.5 left to win the championship game.

Dillon White, Mt. Vernon: The senior went 4-0 with 4 falls to win the 144 pound weight class at the Murdale Tournament. White was named the Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament.

Hayden Williamson, Anna-Jonesboro: The sophomore went 3-0 with 2 falls and a tech fall to win the 110 pound weight class at the Murdale Girls Wrestling Tournament.
