BENTON — The Benton Rangers head into the Christmas holiday a perfect 9-0 after a dominant 67-38 win over Carmi-White County at Rich Herrin Gymnasium.
Colorado State signee Docker Tedeschi had a monster day for the Rangers, pouring in 38 points including five dunks.
Up next for both teams will be holiday tournaments–Benton will head to Pinckneyville for the Duster Thomas Hoops Classic, while Carmi-White County will head to the Eldorado Holiday Tournament. The Bulldogs open up the EHT Thursday night at 7:00 against the host Eagles. The Rangers will face Steeleville at 1:30 Friday in the opening round of the DTHC.
