NASHVILLE — The Nashville Hornets held off a second half rally to beat the Carterville Lions 47-44 at Assembly Hall in Nashville Saturday.
Nashville improves to 8-2 on the season, while Carterville falls to 4-4.
The Hornets next action will be Thursday morning at 11:00 against McCluer (MO) in the opening game of the 63rd Mater Dei Holiday Tournament. The Lions will face Hardin County at 3:15 Thursday in the opening round of the 60th Eldorado Holiday Tournament.
