CARBONDALE — The Marion Wildcats continued their early season surge, beating Carbondale 61-43 for their sixth straight win.
The Wildcats led 31-24 at the half and still led by eight late in the third until closing the quarter on an 8-0 run to lead 47-31 heading to the fourth.
Ethan Simmons led Marion with 20 points with Kaden Rogowski adding 16.
The Wildcats improve to 7-2, 2-0 in the South Seven. The Terriers fall to 6-4 (0-2).
