WALTONVILLE — Kyle Cooper poured in 32 points, and Waltonville used a big second half to pull away from rival Woodlawn for a 63-36 win.
The Spartans led 16-10 after one and took a 27-20 lead into halftime before outscoring the Cardinals 19-8 in the third quarter to seize control, then 17-8 in the fourth to close it out.
With the win, the Spartans improve to 9-0, 2-0 in the Midland Trail. Woodlawn falls to 6-3, 1-1 in the conference.
