MARION — The Carbondale Terriers used a huge fourth quarter to rally past Effingham for a 45-41 win at the Legence Bank Shootout held at Marion.
Trailing 38-32 entering the fourth, the Terriers scored the first 10 points and went on to outscore the Hearts 13-3 for the win.
Carbondale improves to 4-2. The Terriers will host the 10-game, two-day Illinois Get Down shootout Friday and Saturday. Carbondale will face Jones (FL) Friday at 7:00 and then Craigmont (TN) Saturday at 6:30.
