CHRISTOPHER — The Waltonville Spartans advanced to the championship game of the 50th Christopher Turkey Tournament with a 71-54 win over Marissa/Coulterville.
Witten Devor led the Spartans attack with 22 points. Kyle Cooper added 19 and Gage Peterson 15.
Brock Portz led the Meteors with 18 points, with younger brother Ky chipping in 13.
The Spartans will face the host Bearcats Saturday at 5:30 in the championship game. Marissa/Coulterville will take on New Athens in the third place at 3:30. Earlier in the day, Zeigler-Royalton will take on Thompsonville at 12:30 for seventh place, followed by Webber and Patoka/Odin for fifth.
