CHRISTOPHER — On a night with 12 Spartans scoring including four in double figures, Waltonville rolled past Zeigler-Royalton 91-28 in the final quarterfinal at the 50th Christopher Turkey Tournament.
Gage Peterson led the way for Waltonville with 19. Jagger Mayville added 15, Witten Devor 14, and Kyle Cooper 12 for the Spartans.
Lucas Rogers led Z-R with 14 points. River Freeman tallied eight, surpassing 1000 career points.
Waltonville will face Marissa/Coulterville in the semifinals Friday night at 7:30. Z-R will take on Patoka/Odin at 6:00 Friday in the consolation bracket. The Meteors downed the Warriors 47-33 in the other quarterfinal.
