TOLONO — The Nashville Hornets fell behind 21-0 after one quarter and never could recover, falling at Tolono Unity 47-24 in a 3A quarterfinal.
Unity extended the lead to 35-6 by halftime then triggered the running clock with two touchdowns in the first three minutes of the third quarter.
The Rockets advance to the 3A semifinals where they will visit conference foe Monticello. Nashville’s season ends at 10-2.
