Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois Prime Time Performer nominees

Voting is open and will run through noon Sunday for the next Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois in Mt. Vernon Prime Time Performer.

Here are the nominees for October 28-November 2:

Hinsley Everett, NCOE: The senior had 23 kills, 5 aces, and 9 digs helping the Fighting Cardinals go 2-0 and win the NCOE 1A Regional. 

Miah Gilmore, Murphysboro: The senior won the Benton 1A Cross Country Sectional by 25 seconds with a time of 16:58.70.

Gabriel Greer, Marion: The sophomore won the Olney 2A Cross Country Sectional by 4 seconds with a time of 14:57.83

Tyjaire Kellum, Murphysboro: The senior rushed 28 times for 295 yards and tied a school record with 6 touchdowns in the Red Devils’ 56-33 win at Macomb in the first round of the playoffs.

Hayden Klingeman, Nashville: The senior rushed 15 times for 166 yards with 4 touchdowns and completed 7 of 13 passing for 76 yards in the Hornets’ 42-35 win over Stanford Olympia in the first round of the playoffs..

Xavier Koch, Centralia: The senior wass standout in all 3 phases for Centralia, catching 10 passes for 156 yards with a touchdown, forced fumble, tackle for loss, and onside kick recovery in the Orphans’ 23-9 loss to Metamora in the first round of the playoffs. 

Tiffin Kouzoukas, Benton: The senior was 8-10 passing for 110 yards with 3 touchdowns and rushed for 56 yards on 9 carries with 2 more TDs in the Rangers’ 48-7 at New Berlin in the first round of the 3A playoffs.

Whitney Lovel, Trico: The sophomore tallied 33 kills to go with 12 digs, helping the Pioneers go 3-0 and win the Zeigler-Royalton 1A Regional. Lovel recorded 18 kills vs Cobden in the regional championship match. 

Gabe McLain, Benton: The senior won the Benton 1A Boys Sectional by 24 seconds with a time of 14:09.50.

.Logann Miller, Massac Co.:  The freshman tallied 20 kills helping the Lady Patriots go 2-0 and win the Harrisburg Regional championship.
