ZEIGLER — Top-seeded Trico and fourth-seeded Cobden won their semifinal matches Wednesday night to advance to the Zeigler-Royalton 1A Volleyball Regional championship.
The Pioneers beat the host Tornadoes 25-14, 25-14 in the opener. The Appleknockers followed with a 25-11, 25-11 win over Century in the nightcap.
Trico and Cobden will play at 6:00 Thursday with the winner advancing to next week’s Cobden 1A Sectional.
