CARTERVILLE — The Carterville Lions jumped out to a 20-0 lead after one quarter and cruised to a 54-6 win over Anna-Jonesboro in the regular season finale.
The Lions now head to the postseason at 7-2 with a shot at hosting in the first round. They will find out their playoff opponent and destination Saturday night when the IHSA releases the pairings approximately 8:15.
The Wildcats finish 0-9.
