MURPHYSBORO — Tyjaire Kellum scored five first half touchdowns as Murphysboro scored early and often to build a 40-6 lead at the half before cruising to a 47-13 win over Harrisburg.
The Red Devils’s sixth straight win clinches a playoff spot and sets up a showdown at Carterville next Friday night for the SIRR Ohio title. Both teams are 3-0 in conference play.
The Bulldogs fall to 4-3. They will close out Ohio play at home next week against Herrin.
