NCOE has moved into the top spot of our midseason area volleyball coaches poll. The Fighting Cardinals received seven of the 12 first place votes to edge Nashville, who received the other five first place votes. Preseason number one Carmi-White County is third, with Edwards County moving into the top five, a spot ahead of Pinckneyville.
Fairfield is sixth followed Massac County and Du Quoin with Centralia and Trico each cracking the top 10. Carbondale, Salem, Herrin, Murphysboro, and Carterville also received votes.
