Harrisburg cruises to Homecoming victory over Massac County

HARRISBURG – The Harrisburg Bulldogs scored early and often on their way to 62-7 Homecoming win over Massac County.

Harrisburg rattled off four consecutive touchdowns and two-point conversions to build a 32-0 first quarter lead.

The Patriots got on the board late in the first courtesy an 81-yard touchdown pass from Kamren Fairfield to Kris Garnett.

Harrisburg tacked on two more scores in the second quarter to lead 48-7 at the half before cruising to the 55-point win.

The Bulldogs improve to 4-1 (1-0). They will host Carterville next week.

The Patriots fall to 1-4 (0-2). They will travel to Herrin next week.
