Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois Prime Time Performer nominees

Voting is open and will run through midnight Saturday for the next Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois in Mt. Vernon Prime Time Performer.

Here are the nominees for September 16-21:

Eli Baker, Salem: The junior scored 8 goals and added an assist in the Wildcats’ 9-2 win over Mt. Vernon.

Jace Erwin, S-V/Waltonville: The junior rushed 16 times for 224 yards and scored a touchdown in the Red Devils’ 32-0 win over Carmi-White County.

Emmy Goering, Edwards Co.: The senior was named Tournament MVP after helping the Lady Lions go 5-0 and win the Superman Slam at Massac County. 

Travion Johnson, West Frankfort: The senior rushed 20 times for 326 yards and scored 5 touchdowns in the Redbirds’ 61-33 win over Pinckneyville.

Tyjaire Kellum, Murphysboro: The senior rushed 7 times for 212 yards and scored 3 touchdowns in the Red Devils’ 56-2 win over Massac County.

Kormik Massie, Flora: The sophomore rushed 15 times for 193 yards and scored 3 touchdowns on offense and had 11 tackles on defense in the Wolves’ 36-22 win over Eldorado.

Aidan McFadden, Anna-Jonesboro: The junior won medalist honors at a tournament at two meets. McFadden won the Marion Invitational in a playoff after shooting a 67. He also won meets with Carbondale and Trico as well as Pinckneyville and Du Quoin after 33s in each.

Molly Robertson, Carterville: The senior won medalist honors in a field of 134 runners with a time of 18:48.17, helping the Lady Lions to the team title at the Olney Invitational.

Averie Summerlin, Carbondale: The senior was named MVP of the Charleston Lady Trojans Invitational after helping the Terriers to a third place finish.

Vanessa Teel, Pinckneyville: The senior won medalist honors in a field of 129 runners with a time of 20:14.30 at the Edwardsville Invitational.
