Voting is open and will run through midnight Saturday for the next Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois in Mt. Vernon Prime Time Performer.

Here are the nominees for September 9-14:

Michael Brown, Centralia: The junior rushed 29 times for 278 yards and scored 3 touchdowns in the Orphans’ 27-26 loss at Waterloo.

Kash Cantrell, Benton: The senior tied the 9-hole school record score with a 30 in a match win over Anna-Jonesboro, Hamilton County, and Herrin. He then fired a 7-under 65 to win medalist honors at the Benton Invitational.

Jaxon Dalby, Webber: The senior won the West Frankfort Redbird Invitational by 34 seconds with a time of 15:28.48.

Hinsley Everett, NCOE: The senior tallied 33 kills, 5 blocks, 7 digs, 12 aces, and 25 service points to lead the Fighting Cardinals to a 5-0 week. Everett was named to the All-Tournament Team after helping NCOE to the title of the Cathy Black Invitational.

Kamren Fairfield, Massac Co.: The junior was 15-22 passing for 233 yards and 2 touchdowns to help lead the Patriots to a 23-21 win over Anna-Jonesboro.

Emily Gottman, Mt. Carmel: The senior fired a school record 7-under 65 to help the Lady Aces win the Benton Invitational by 78 strokes with a school record team total of 281.

Samuel Kollbaum, Nashville: The senior rushed 19 times for 166 yards and scored 5 touchdowns to help lead the Hornets to a 42-0 win over Wesclin.

Angel Lemus, Murphysboro: The senior scored 3 goals and added an assist to lead the Red Devils to a pair of conference road wins. Lemus scored the game winning goals in wins at A-J/Cobden and Massac County.

Gabe McLain, Benton: The senior won the 5000M Green division at the Forest Park XC Fest against a loaded field with a time of 15:14.00

Dawson Nicholas, Anna-Jonesboro: The junior rushed 23 times for 183 yards and scored 3 touchdowns in the Wildcats’ 23-21 loss to Massac County.

Molly Robertson, Carterville: The senior won the West Frankfort Redbird Invitational with a time of 17:57.23.

Callahan Roper, Marion: The junior was 16-21 passing for 251 yards with a touchdown and 2-pt conversion to help the Wildcats rally for a 37-34 win at Mt. Vernon.
