GRANITE CITY — Callahan Roper threw three first half touchdowns helping Marion build a 29-0 lead at the half then cruise to a 51-0 win at Granite City.
Ryian Calonne added 120 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries for the Wildcats. Chase Niemeyer, Blake Winters, and Ayden Broomfield also had rushing touchdowns. Roper completed passes to six different receivers with Winters, Max Wade, and Sam Adkins all catching touchdowns.
The Wildcats improve to 2-0. They will open South Seven play next week at Mt. Vernon.
