Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois Prime Time Performer nominees

Voting is open and will run through midnight Saturday for the next Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois in Mt. Vernon Prime Time Performer.

Here are the nominees for August 26-August 31:

Emma Behrmann, Nashville: The junior recorded 52 kills, 6 blocks, 58 digs, and 10 aces to help the Hornettes go 7-0 for the week, including the SIRR Preview Tournament championship. Behrmann was named to the All-Tournament Team. 

Mozzy Graham, Carbondale: The senior rushed 18 times for 80 yards and scored 3 touchdowns including the game winner in the final minute helping the Terriers down Murphysboro 36-33.

Tiffin Kouzoukas, Benton: The senior was 11-14 passing for 167 yards and a touchdown and also rushed 10 times for 64 yards and scored 4 TDs on the ground helping the Rangers beat Carterville 41-0.

Chase Niemeyer, Marion: The senior rushed 15 times for 120 yards and a touchdown and had 1 catch for 16 yards in his first high school football game to help the Wildcats to a 42-21 win over Herrin. 

Noah Pollard, Carmi-White Co.: The senior rushed 29 times for 252 yards and scored 3 touchdowns to help the Bulldogs beat Flora 36-20.

Owen Rann, Harrisburg: The senior was 13-20 for 187 yards and 3 touchdowns to help the Bulldogs beat Anna-Jonesboro 47-0.

Caroline Simmons, Carmi-White Co.: The junior recorded 65 kills, 4 blocks, 52 digs, 10 aces, and 10 assists to help the Lady Bulldogs go 7-0, including the Fairfield Kickoff Classic where she was named Tournament MVP.

Vanessa Teel, Pinckneyville: The senior won the Mascoutah Invitational with a time of 19:18.7.
