CARTERVILLE — Tiffin Kouzoukas rushed for four touchdowns and threw a fifth as the Benton Rangers went on the road and pummeled Carterville 41-0 in the 2024 season opener.
The Lions had a 14-play opening drive stall at the Benton 25. The Rangers took over from there scoring on their first four possessions to take a 27-0 lead into the half.
Kouzoukas added a pair short touchdown runs in the second half to trigger the running clock.
Benton (1-0) will welcome Salem next week, while Carterville (0-1) will travel to Nashville.
