Boehne competed in four sports for the Silver Stallions: golf, basketball, baseball, and bowling. He is a three-year team captain in both basketball and golf as well as a two-year team captain for baseball.

Boehne is a three-time state qualifier in golf (there was no state tournament his freshman year), including a third place finish in 1A as a junior. He medaled in more than 40 matches during his high school career, including the Governor’s Run Regional his junior year and the Acorns Sectional his senior year. Parker earned All-Conference honors all four years and All-Metro East his senior year.

In basketball, Boehne scored more than 1000 points, helping the Silver Stallions to a 30-3 record and state ranking his junior year and the program’s first supersectional appearance as a senior. He was named MVP of the Vandalia Holiday Tournament and the MTC Tournament his junior year, All-Conference as well as AP and IBCA All-State recognition his junior and senior years.

In baseball, Boehne has been a starting pitcher and first baseman all four years, as CORL advanced to the sectional championship each of the past two seasons. He’s been an All-Conference selection three times.

Boehne bowled his senior year, when he missed advancing to sectional by a single pin in a roll-off.

Parker excels in the classroom as well where he has a 4.057 GPA on a 4.0 scale. He has earned 3 academic excellence awards and is a member of the National Honor Society as well the Senior Leadership Team and a Student Mentor.

Boehne will golf at Eastern Illinois University, where he plans to major in sports management.
