Congratulations to Carterville’s Braden Wakey, our Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois in Mt. Vernon Prime Time Performer for the week of April 8-13.
The senior set a new school record of 6-7.5 to win the high jump in addition to winning the shot put (48-11.5) and discus (156-10.25) as well as finishing second in the long jump (21.875) at the SIU High School Outdoor meet.
