CARBONDALE — The Carbondale Terriers took over sole possession of first place in the South Seven with a 4-1 win over Marion.
The Terriers led 2-0 at the half before freshman Sara Schurz added a pair of second half goals. Kali Wallace scored in the final minute for the Lady Wildcats to avoid the shutout.
Carbondale improves to 9-3-1 (4-0), while Marion falls to 7-5 (2-1).
