Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois Prime Time Performer nominees

Voting is open and will run through midnight Sunday for the next Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois in Mt. Vernon Prime Time Performer.

Here are the nominees for April 1-6:

Lilli Armes, Johnston City: The sophomore went 6-13 with a double, a home run, and 11 RBIs helping the Lady Indians go 5-0 for the week.

Lilly Blagoue, Salem: The junior was 2-0, allowing 1 unearned run on 7 hits in 14 innings, while striking out 26. At the plate, Blagoue was 8-15 with 3 doubles, 3 home runs, 8 RBIs, and 7 runs scored helping the Lady Wildcats go 4-0 for the week.

Ahry Comer, Pope Co.: The senior finished 4th against runners from across the country in the 800 meters at the Arcadia Invitational in Arcadia, California. Comer finished with a time of 2:10.70.

Jack Ford, Harrisburg: The senior was 8-13 and was on base 10 times with 2 doubles, 6 RBIs, 3 stolen bases and 6 runs scored helping the Bulldogs go 4-0 for the week. 

Megan McNitt, Murphysboro: The senior scored 8 goals in 2 Red Devils’ wins, splitting them evenly–4 against Anna-Jonesboro/Cobden and 4 against Breese Central.

Caidence Phillips, Carterville: The sophomore was 3-0, allowing no runs on 2 hits in 17 innings, while striking out 42. Phillips pitched a 6-inning perfect game in a win over Herrin, and set a new school record with 19 strikeouts in a win over Tolono Unity.

Briar Rowland, ZRC: The senior was 8-12 and was on base 11 times with 7 RBIs, 6 stolen bases, and 6 runs scored helping the Tornadoes go 4-0 for the week.

Camden Waller, Du Quoin: The senior was 5-12 with a home run, 5 RBIs, 3 stolen bases, and 4 runs scored helping the Indians go 3-0 for the week. On the mound, Waller was 1-0, allowing no runs on 3 hits over 6 innings while striking out 3.

Emma Williamson, Christ Our Rock Lutheran: The junior was 6-8 with 2 doubles, a triple,  and 2 home runs at the plate and struck out 35 batters in 17 innings on the mound, helping the Silver Stallions go 3-0 for the week.

Kanon Wilson, Trico: The senior was 4-6 with 2 doubles, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs, and 3 runs scored helping the Pioneers go 2-0 for the week. Wilson had 2 homers and drove in 5 in a win over Red Bud.
