Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois Prime Time Performer nominees

Voting is open and will run through midnight Sunday for the next Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois in Mt. Vernon Prime Time Performer.

Here are the nominees for March 25-30:

Jayden Anders, Du Quoin: The junior was 9-19 with 4 doubles, and 7 RBIs helping the Indians go 6-0 for the week.

Izzy Doerr, Murphysboro: The sophomore scored 5 goals and added an assist in the Red Devils’ 9-0 win over Pinckneyville.

Kayden Glover, Crab Orchard: The junior was 5-10 with 2 doubles, 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored helping the Trojans go 3-0 for the week.

Tony Keene, Harrisburg: The senior won the long jump (20’10”), pole vault (16’), the 110 hurdles (15.08), and the 300 hurdles (43.66) at the Benton Spring Fling. Keene’s 16’ pole vault is a personal best and currently the top mark in 2A.

Gemma Kinkade, Benton: The junior won the long jump (16’5.25”),the 100 (12.97), and the 200 (27.74) at the Benton Spring Fling. Kinkade also anchored the Rangerettes’ 4×100 relay that finished second.

Trevor McClure, Mt. Vernon: The freshman was 4-10 with a double, 4 RBIs, 7 stolen bases, and 4 runs scored in 3 games for the Rams. McClure stole 5 bases and scored 4 runs in a win over Benton.

Jayci Needling, Anna-Jonesboro: The sophomore was 5-9 with a double, home run, 9 RBIs, and 4 runs scored helping the Lady Wildcats to a 3-0 week. Needling homered and drove in 5 in a win over Plano.
