MURPHYSBORO — Cade Brooks scored 26 points and Karmelo Abernathy added 19 as the Murphysboro Red Devils kept their hopes of sharing the SIRR Ohio title alive with a 75-66 win over Harrisburg.
AJ Boese added 13 points for the Red Devils, who improve to 17-10 (4-3) on the season. Murphysboro can earn a share of the conference title with a win at Carterville to close the regular season. The Lions clinched a share with a 62-52 win at Massac County.
Harrisburg falls to 13-16, 1-6 in Ohio play.
