METROPOLIS — The Carterville Lions clinched at least a share of the SIRR Ohio title with a 62-52 win at Massac County. It’s the Lions’ first year on the Ohio side after making the switch from the Mississippi side.
Carterville (16-11, 5-2) has now won five straight and can wrap up the conference title outright with a win over Murphysboro Thursday night at home in the regular season finale.
Massac County falls to 19-7 and finishes 4-4 in the Ohio.
