Congratulations to Murphysboro’s Gibson Fager, our Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois in Mt. Vernon Prime Time Performer for the week of November 6-11.
The junior was 6-11 for 89 yards and a touchdown passing and rushed 4 times for 31 yards and scored another touchdown in the Red Devils’ 25-20 win over Harrisburg in the 4A quarterfinals. Fager’s TD pass to Josh Cano as time expired was the game winner.
Fager and the Red Devils will host perennial power and unbeaten Rochester in the semifinals Saturday at 3:00.
