CARTERVILLE — Carterville multi-sport standout Amayah Doyle made it official Wednesday, signing her National Letter of Intent to play softball at the University of Tennessee.
Doyle is rated the number one infielder in the class of ‘24 by Extra Inning Softball. She hit .587 last year as a junior for the Lions, clubbing a school record 18 home runs to go with 54 RBIs, 24 stolen bases, and 62 runs scored.
Doyle is joining one of the top programs in the country in Tennessee. The Lady Vols made the Women’s College World Series last year and finished fourth in the final national rankings.
