ANNA — Friday night’s game against Carterville marks the final one on the sidelines for Anna-Jonesboro Wildcats’ head football coach Brett Detering.
Detering is retiring from coaching after 27 seasons, where his teams won 174 games and made 18 playoff appearances. We caught up with Coach D before his final practice to talk about the final game and look back at his career. (Interview is posted in two parts)
