METROPOLIS — Chris Nelson and Kyrese Lukens combined for 6 touchdowns as the Herrin Tigers snapped a 3-game losing streak with a 48-0 win at Massac County.
Nelson scored three rushing touchdowns, while Lukens threw a pair of TDs and ran in a third.
The Tigers improve to 2-4 (1-2). Herrin will step out of SIRR Ohio play this week when they host Prairie Central Saturday at 2:00. Massac County falls to 1-5 (0-3). The Patriots will visit Carterville Friday night at 7:00.
