Du Quoin remains unbeaten, clinches playoff spot

WEST FRANKFORT — Luke Bauman scored four second half touchdowns as Du Quoin Indians remained unbeaten and clinched a playoff spot with a 48-6 win at West Frankfort.

The Indians led just 7-6 at the half but blew the game open with a monster second half. Bauman scored on runs of two and 33 yards in the third quarter, then added TD runs of four and 51 in the fourth quarter.

Du Quoin improves to 6-0 (3-0) and will travel to Anna-Jonesboro Friday night. West Frankfort falls to 2-4 (1-2). The Redbirds will host Benton Friday night.
