MURPHYSBORO — The Murphysboro Red Devils shut out Massac County 3-0 in a matchup of SIRR boys soccer unbeatens.
Goalkeeper Amartez Bankhead delivered the shutout for Murphysboro, with Jeremiah Vaughn and Cade Brooks providing the scoring.
Vaughn scored in the first half to a 1-0 Murphysboro lead, and Brooks added two second half goals. Brooks now has 19 goals in eight matches this season.
