CARTERVILLE — Brandon Skelcher threw four touchdown passes helping Carterville improve to 2-0 on the season with a 35-14 home-opening win over Nashville.
This game is a non-conference matchup now as the Lions have moved to the Ohio side of the SIRR.
Two of Skelcher’s four TD passes came in the final 1:42 of the first half as the Lions grabbed a 21-7 lead at the half.
Amon Cosey provided a 100 yard game rushing for the Lions. Cosey added a touchdown early in the fourth to push Carterville’s lead to 21.
